C. Brian Fox, CPA, Founder and Vice President of Business Development

As the founder of Capital Confirmation Brian has been the driving force for CCI’s effective response to the rapidly evolving accounting industry standards. Brian worked in audit for Ernst & Young LLP and mergers and acquisitions for PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP. Early on as a staff accountant and manager, Brian was able to identify the inefficiency and potential for fraud that existed with the current confirmation process. His vision resulted in the creation of a new, innovative and award winning patent-pending process, which today places CCI at the forefront of accounting industry service providers.

In 2006 Brian was named by The CPA Technology Advisor as one of the accounting profession’s “40 Under 40”. Brian is a member of the AICPA and The Tennessee Society of CPA’s where he sits on the Accounting and Auditing Symposium Committee for the Society. He has authored numerous articles on fraud with articles and quotes in The CPA Journal, New York Times, The CPA Technology Advisor, AP Matters, The Auditor’s Report, The International Herald Tribune and many other professional publications. He also teaches continuing professional education classes on financial fraud and is often a guest lecturer at professional conferences and business schools.

Brian completed his MBA at Vanderbilt University with a dual concentration in Finance and Electronic Commerce and received a BBA in Accounting from Southern Methodist University's Cox Business School. In 2007 he joined the Board of the Greenhills YMCA. Brian is the past-President of the Brentwood Academy Alumni Council and also served on the school’s Advisory Board.

Jim Hamilton, Chief Technology Officer

Jim brings over thirty years of experience in Information Technology to the management team with an expertise in on-line financial services transaction processing, including software development and operation of highly-available, business critical solutions.

Before working for Capital Confirmation, Jim was Senior Vice President of Information Technology for MyTravel North America where he was responsible for IT strategy and successfully managed all software development and operational responsibilities for the delivery of applications to MyTravel’s call centers, remote agents and commercial e-commerce websites.

Prior to MyTravel, Jim held several positions with VISA International including Vice President of Engineering and Program Management for VISA Interactive, VISA International’s Worldwide Remote Banking and Bill Payment Company. Director at VISA International Electronic Banking, where he led the technical relationship with Intuit to facilitate standards in the market place through a joint effort with VISA, Intuit, Chase Manhattan Bank and Wells Fargo Bank.

Jim received a BS in Business Administration from the University of Montana.

Dave Malone, Vice President Financial Institutions

Dave is an industry veteran selling services to the financial services industry. Prior to Capital Confirmation, Dave was the Vice President of Strategic Development for CyberCash where he was responsible for client development, account management, and new business initiatives. Dave has a B.A. from the University of Mississippi.

Clark Hudgins, Vice President Accounting Profession

Throughout his career, Clark has been involved in the selling of financial services and communications across the United States. Before joining Capital Confirmation, Clark served as a regional manager for Investment Scorecard where he was responsible for client development, account management, and new business initiatives. Prior to Investment Scorecard, he was the regional business director for Nex-I.com, where his responsibilities included covering major metropolitan markets for the company’s ASP service. Clark has a B.A. from the University of Mississippi.

Janette Houser, Director of Customer Services & Project Management

Janette brings to CCI a strong background in information systems project management and customer support. As Senior Project Manager for Covad Communications, she was responsible for quality assurance testing, training, end-user documentation and system debugging. Before her work at Covad, Janette was manager of Distributed Systems for AmSouth Bank. While at AmSouth, she coordinated the muti-vendor, multi-site implementations for the company’s EDGE project and was responsible for training.

Prior to AmSouth, Janette was a consultant for Ernst and Young serving in the firm’s Southeast Regional Information Systems Practice where she assessed automation needs, designed recommendations, and implemented upgraded IT systems for her clients. Janette has a BS from the University of Tennessee.

Vishal Modi, Chief Systems Architect

Vishal is a proven leader who has an established record of accomplishments, in software development and systems architecture design and implementation. His experience includes development of distributed computing environments on both Microsoft and Java-based platforms.

Prior to Capital Confirmation, Vishal had a variety of assignments with MyTravel North America. Most recently leading the Systems Architecture Team, which was responsible for designing and building cross-functional e-commerce features on MyTravel’s multi-tiered platform. These applications were driven by Oracle databases with high transaction, back-end booking engines. Vishal has significant experience working in many varied programming languages, databases, and applications on diverse platforms. Vishal has degrees from APTECH Computer Education and H.A. College of Commerce on India.
