- Requires providers to be Registry members.
- Requires providers to be Registry members or to register with the state board.
- Requires course providers offering courses outside New York to register with state board or NASBA. Requires course providers offering courses inside New York to register with the state board only.
- Requires providers that offer interactive self-study to be Registry members.
- Also accepts providers not on the Registry.
- Requires only providers that offer live courses to be Registry members.
- Requires that all self-study CPE program providers be approved by either a state society, the AICPA, NASBA's National Registry of CPE Sponsors, or NASBA's Quality Assurance Service (QAS).
