Security—the cornerstone of the Capital Confirmation Confirm™ platform

Ensuring the privacy and security of our customer’s real-time information exchange over the Capital Confirmation Confirm™ Network and the public Internet (www.confirmation.com), is a critical element of our security policy. From design and development, to deployment and maintenance security is a core focus for all parts of the infrastructure including the network, platform and services. Specific security features include:

  • System Architecture - the Confirm™ architecture and services are specifically created to facilitate ease of use while maximizing security.
  • Firewall Compatibility — Confirm™ services can communicate through standard HTTPS and secure SSL ports. Customers are not required to reconfigure their firewalls to enable online confirmations.
  • Authentication - Capital Confirmation provides a secure framework for performing secure, efficient confirmations. Added security elements include: ID & password protection, visual identification, third-party validation, and governmental verification.
  • Encryption - Capital Confirmation never sends confirmation content in clear text. We require a secure SSL data format for communicating data to and from users to the Confirm™ servers.
  • Security Options - There are a number of options available in each of the services to enhance security. All the security options can be configured by you to have complete control over staff privileges.
  • Facilities Security - Confirm™ network services are provided through a professional, harden hosting environment. All Capital Confirmation facilities are extremely secure. This includes physical access, access to equipment and the network.
